There are many different sources of stress in our lives, and sometimes we may not even realize the root cause of our stress. Wouldn't it be worthwhile to receive personalized help to find the ways to destroy your stress, as well as improve your health and relationships? I have found the key coping mechanisms required to destroy that stress and bring peace, balance and joy back into your life and relationships.ĭuring challenging times and times of struggle, I find it helpful to share with others. Living with excess stress negatively affects our mental, emotional, and physical health as well as our relationships with others. Stress itself is one of the biggest obstacles in our lives. I found ways to approach my stress and all the challenges I was facing, including finding the right treatment with my physician, and I want to share those methods with you. I realized that I had a choice in front of me: I could let the struggles I faced defeat me, or I could defeat my struggles. It would have been easy to give up, but I was determined to overcome my challenges as much as possible. I had to work even harder to earn my college degree. Not to mention the immense mental and emotional stress it added to my life. I struggled with my diagnosis, finding treatment, starting physical therapy, managing my physical symptoms. This condition took a toll on me, and made working and finishing my degree extraordinarily difficult. Before long, I realized something was very wrong and the doctors finally diagnosed me with a form of Muscular Dystrophy called Myasthenia Gravis where the muscles have trouble receiving instructions from the nerves. This was not weakness one encounters after doing too much exercise, but from muscles being unable to actually move properly. ![]() When I was in my 20’s, I began having extreme muscle weakness. This process of self-discovery and stress relief is something that I want to share with you! I realized that every obstacle can be overcome regardless of circumstance, and that a person can be reminded of their capabilities. This process of reflection led me to finding the best ways to tackle my stress, learning improved coping methods, and finding resilience. The challenges I faced with my health encouraged me to take a step back and reflect on how I could make changes to improve my life and relieve my stress. I was presented with physical health challenges, and enormous stress due to the demands of my life. While I really enjoyed working in that industry, it became extremely challenging to do my job due to health issues. I began my career in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
